Hey there fellow lighting friends. Linear Lighting has remained one of the most popular product types within The Lighting Exchange and is commonly specified within commercial office spaces, schools and institutions due to its versatility and architectural simplicity. Today we’ve got the S2 by Lumato Lighting on hand, and here is what you need to know.

Although the S2 by Lumato has a magnitude of features, one of our favorites is the hidden connection points that come in handy when a quiet ceiling is a design goal. By recessing the hardware connections, Lumato eliminates the sight of clunky wires and hardware seen in typical suspended lighting fixtures and frankly, we love that attention to detail. The S2 also features a 135 degree ultra-wide batwing distribution which provides even illumination across a ceiling while allowing for maximum spacing between fixtures, and when minimizing fixture count is important, this is definitely a big deal. Although this sample is a small 2’ section, multiple 4’, 8’ and 12’ sections can be connected using Lumato’s sure-fit alignment to create straight, long linear rows and in addition to several lumen output choices, this fixture also provides multiple up/down configurations which allow for lighting design teams to leverage the output versatility and meet demanding design obstacles from a wide variety of applications.
